What we can tell you for sure is that when we tried to check it in September 2026, our antivirus blocked the address as malvertising. That’s because of the pop-up and redirect ads the site runs on. What NZBStars Is

NZBStars is a free NZB site built on Spotweb, which reads the Spotnet network on Usenet. You don’t need an account. You just go to the site, look through the categories or search, and download the NZB. It has categories for video, sound, games and apps, and each one has its own color. You can search by title, poster, tag or spotter ID, and sort by date, size, comments or rating. It’s simple to use, but it has a lot of ads, and people say it only updates about every 30 minutes.

Is NZBStars Working?

It’s hard to say for sure. Status checker sites have reported nzbstars.com as down, but we’ve also seen reports that it’s still running. Spotweb sites like this one tend to come and go without any notice. If it won’t load for you, it may be down, or your ad blocker or antivirus may be blocking it because of the ads.

Fake posts, especially software, PC games and movies that aren’t out yet, sometimes have malware hidden inside.
