If you’re looking up EarthVPN today you’ll find two different things with the same name, and they aren’t the same company.
The EarthVPN we first reviewed was a small VPN company based in Northern Cyprus. It never had its own apps, so you had to set it up by hand on every device. As of September 2026 its website isn’t loading at all. It looks like that service is gone.
Earth VPN the App
What you’ll find in the app stores now is a phone app called Earth VPN. It’s made by a different company on each store. On iPhone it’s sold by Unilend Oy (Earth VPN on the App Store). On Android it’s listed by AAA Green Energy Organization (Earth VPN on Google Play). Neither one has anything to do with the old EarthVPN.
Free and Paid Versions
The app is simple. You tap once to connect and there aren’t any complicated menus. There’s a free version with ads, and a paid version that drops the ads and adds more locations. On iPhone the paid plans are $9.99 a week, $12.49 a month or $49.99 a year.
What We Think
It’s easy to use, but it’s a basic app. At $9.99 a week it works out to over $500 a year if you forget to cancel. The iPhone version hasn’t been updated since April 2024. There’s also no company website behind it, just a generic privacy policy page. That makes it hard to know who you’re trusting with your traffic, and with a VPN that’s the whole point.
