I was once, many years ago, prevented from photocopying my own music
because the manuscript paper had printed on it the logo of the publisher
of the paper (EMI if I remember correctly) and the logo being copyright
the paged couldn't be copied legally. I did ask if tearing the bit with
the logo off each sheet would be a workable solution but was firmly told
that an infringement would still have occurred.
