You're in luck! A chicago-style blues band, Pete G and the Magnitones http://www.magnitones.com/ , are playing tonight at: Ain't Nothin' But The Blues Bar http://www.aintnothinbut.co.uk/ 20 Kingly St, Soho, London W1 020 7287 0514 You can listen to their CD on the Magnitones' website if you want to see what they're like. I may even pop down there myself tonight although there again I may not as I've just come back from Borough Market with some Ostrich and I don't want to cart it around with me. It's free before 8:30 (it might be 8:00, can't remember), otherwise you have to pay a fiver. Closes at 2:30 in the morning. The place fills up early (mainly to avoid the charge, but tonight especially as the Magnitones are actually quite good). And you may want to put two dates in your diary for December, both at the 606 Club (http://www.606club.co.uk): Tony O'Malley is on Sunday 21 December, and the following day Adam Phillip is there. Should both be good nights. Tonight, DEFINITELY, I'd recommend Pete G and the Magnitones at the Blues Bar as mentioned above.
