Chances are that even though the first Turks were unrelated to Greece's inhabitans, the later ones probably were a conglomerate of THEIR originators and probably some of the local Greeks which lived in the areas, particularly after 400 years of Ottoman occupation, which although "officially" (in terms of Greek history, that is) is denied, is probably true. But, I can assure you, mr Shoe-Knee, that my ancient Greek heritage is live and well. You only need to come and meet me and I will show you first hand...
