On my multi-fx there are 2 simple ways of doing it. The first would be to setup 2 patches with the same effects and parameters (which could actually be no effects at all) and then save each patch a different "master volume" - the difference being the amount of boost required. The second way is to setup an EQ effect where the overall boost (applied to all frequencies) is equal to the amount of gain required ... 6dB is a common starting point for this purpose. Alternatively, if there's no "overall" boost / cut parameter, you could alter the gain on each of the individual EQ frequencies by the same amount ... this is likely to have some effect on the tone ... but whether its noticeable will depend upon the unit and your ears ... and whether its pleasing or not is a different question.
