Of course, there are advantages as you say in using those elaborated
tools to edit tabs. I have forgotten to quote TABLEDIT with which I
have learned to play some good fingerpicking tunes and others.
Your idea of translating my tabs with Powertabs comes to me at times.
Perhaps if I started trying to write  simple tabs with it I could
train to write rhythm until it sounds OK ( with that horrible MIDI
sound).
Must be painstaking but worth trying. I'll think of it. Has anyone
experienced in learning to write rhythm this way ?
