My recollection of university is that having got free education, most
of the people there ostensibly to study subjects like "social
sciences" would hardly ever turn up, and then look for excuses to have
a strike. That was the one that really crippled me. Students going on
strike - I mean I ask you? Next thing we'll have a beggars' strike!
