The bulk of it is coming from the USA State of Florida I understand -
perhaps as much as 80%.  I doubt the Bush regime will do anything about it
fast.  It is already killing the Internet and computer use for many people.

You're not alone Jacey. My spam has also increased by approx the same amount
in that time.  I think all the newsgroups are being harvested repeatedly.

I'm getting better at spotting genuine mail stuff and lifting it out.  Then
I dump the rest but leave it in the bin for a day or 3 - lest I've missed
something 1st time round.

I recently ended up with 8 Mb of spoof MS virus attachments stopping stuff
coming through.  This affects business stuff I need to collect.

Trouble is it is such a relentless barrage of truly offensive and mindless,
useless shite, it has lost any semblance of humour.  "Cut price Viagra" or
"enlarge your penis", might be mildly funny - but things like "tiny teens to
fuck" never had any for me.
