Lol!

Funny idea that spelling is all Scots is about, but Irish seems to be 
about idiom. And where were all the mavises and laverocks? No Scots 
dialect translation is complete without a few words which the average 
Scots says 'eh?' in response to.

Still, they can tell you the name for every stage a sheep goes through 
from birth to mutton...
