They're usually compared to Magnetic Fields or other synthpop. 
Personally, though some of the production is similar and the songs are 
very poppy, I think they're too beat-driven to be like modern MF 
(they're maybe closer to stuff off Get Lost or Holiday).

My god, I just realised Holiday was released ten years ago. Now I feel 
old... :-(
