It's regards Jack White, of White Stripes fame, and his Seven Nation Army track. The studio version [and apparently the live version too, which is said to be poor] sounds like he uses both a 6 string and a bass - but different sources say different things. Some say he used a bass backing track to do it live, others say he used an octave divider to get the key. Liner notes make no mention of the bass. Wotchya reckon?
