Billy:
I responded to this early this morning, but I still don't see
that response posted, so I am trying another.
God has not commanded me to write anything. What God has done is
to give me the means (Intelligence and dexterity) to write. God
specifically gives commands NOT to perpetrate evil. He has never, in
so far as I am aware, given commands not to write or draw, etc.. God,
then, wants me to write.
Therefore, when I write anything, provided I am not engaged in an
evil act (God specifically gives commands NOT to perpetrate evil-and
He defines what I am prescribed from doing)I am doing God's will. The
point is that God does not command me NOT to do what He has given me
the wherewithal to do: As is written in Genesis, God told his new
creation to go forth and multiply, inhabit, and spread out over the
earth--and enjoy it.
Back to the prescribed things: If I do that, then I am
disobeying God. I can't disobey in any other way. Even then,
although God is Just and Rightous, He is still a Merciful God who has
no desire to destroy His creation, and He takes into HIs consideration
man's failings, and He provides us forgiveness for them--if we choose
to accept it.
