You'll notice in the Torahâ This week as we live we are reading Prashat Vayyera, and there is a question. In Bereshit 18:9 the word Elav appears. The pasuk reads "Vayomru elav ahyeh Sarah ishtekah vayomer hineh baohel." Baanglit: "And they said to him, where is Sarah your wife." So I'm asking what the three dots above the aleph, yod and vav of the word elav signify? There are 3 dots and three men that come to visit Avraham Avinu and Sarah Emanu. I could find no meaning for a word with the shoresh of Aleph, Yod, Vav but if you add a 'Dalet' the word spells 'iyud' that translates as 'vaporization' and in the Prashat at the end of pasuk 18:2, we see vayishtachu artzah. Maybe this verb corresponding to the land has something to do with the presence of the men in the form of a Shekinah type vaporization coming into corporeal beings from light beings? Kind of like what Obe wan Kanobe was in Star Wars after Darth Vader killed his body. Where he was a light being??? Shalom Amen Selah Israel Tekhelet http://www.torahstudygroup.com ************************************************************************** ******************* I believe with a complete faith that the entire Torah now in our hands is the same one that was given to Moses, our teacher, peace be upon him.
