I can understand you point, but there is another theological concept that can come into play here. Not all of God's creation was created equal.
The god in question is omnibenevolent.
Designing a world in which one creature has to eat another, painfully, in order to survive, isn't the least bit benevolent.
The Bible clearly shows that man has value above the rest of creation.
Again, you can't use the bible as evidence of your god.
We have a soul, created in the image of God.
You're making assertions again. Where's the evidence?
To have one animal preying on another animal, or infecting another animal, or implanting its offspring, does not show that God is not beneficent.
Unless one knows the meaning of the word "beneficent".
