So, imagine for a moment, if you will ... a creation myth that has
survived for 3000 years; a stone blog written by pop psychologists,
historians, futurists and outright psychics of the times; a spiritually
awakened Jew who learned everything he knew about the universe in India;
a new RELIGION borne by one twisted little homosexual in a Philistine
prison; unspeakable atrocities committed by believers of RELIGIONs and
in the name of GOD; myriads of their forsaken victims; the promise of a
better life in another realm; the promise of eternal torment for
everybody who doesn't accept Jesus Christ as their personal lord and
savior.

Then imagine ... the many cycles of the universe, the earth, mankind.
Just how many cycles of civilization do you estimate we have survived?
How many times have we crawled out of the caves and the trees to invent
new creation myths, new gods-rituals-norms-taboos. How many times, do
you think, we have destroyed each other and ourselves over the division
and hatred that RELIGION breeds?

People like me don't prosteletize. We don't tell people, "Believe what
I believe or you are wrong." We understand that the individual will
connect with their true self when they are mature and ready to do so.
Those who don't, never would have. Such is the nature of evolution.

I could go on for another 10 screens but I think you get the point. If
you want to continue this discussion and can keep a civil tone, follow
this post to the crosspost.

pax,
Judy
