ONe of the first signs of a disintegrating civilisation is the
destruction of moral values, along with a tidal wave of support for
the destruction of those moral values.

As CS Lewis wrote in the Screwtape Letters, the game is to get them
all running to the side of the boat that is already almost gunwhale
under.  Thus feckless ages are put on guard against morality, and when
all men are really hastening to be tyrants or slaves, make liberalism
the prime bogey.

I personally believe Western civilisation is on the way out, and that
is why God is allowing the much harsher Moslems to make such an
increasing impact, regardless of what we may think of Islam.
