Even if that were all that is required to enter Heaven -- which it's
really not -- how can you guarantee to yourself that you will
definitely persevere to the end, even in that? Or is it not necessary
to persevere to the end, in order to be saved? ...

** The salvic blood of The Christ washes away even the sin of serial
priestly pedophelia -- provided that less than 70 times 7 (490) kids were
boinked.

Less than 490?

What if exactly 490?

Are you so rigid as to claim that 489 instances of pedophelia can be
forgiven but 490 cannot?

** This is a hellish question since the book of Matthew is not clear
about whether one should forgive 489-times or 490-times, so the safest
course of action for a pedophile-priest is to play it safe and not mess-up
the lives of more than 489 children. However, this is apparently not a
problem since no pedophile-priest has so far lived long enough to come
even within a hundred children of the 489 mark. (Fr. James A. Porter
apparently holds the record at c. 250)

So, as Monty Python would say, 491 is "right out"?
