I have prayed the "sinner's prayer," I have turned my life and my will over to Jesus Christ as my Personal Lord and Saviour, and I am saved, by the standards of anyone who believes that all you have to do is believe on Jesus and you're saved. Because I love Him, I also desire to overcome my own sins, with His help, for love of Him. That is where Catholicism comes in. Anyone who does not desire to be converted from his own sins will likely never find Catholicism, but to anyone who does desire it, the Church gives the means of salvation as in salvation from sin.
