Your post is very true. Recently, I counseled a young man who was (and
still is) contemplating suicide. He expressed extreme sadness and
frustration over the American culture, with it's materialistic society.
We have become an extremely judgemental bunch, we Americans. Perhaps we
should start shipping people to Africa for a few months to make them
appreciate food and clean water. Our people are spoiled! God has been so
so good to us and instead of praising God, we only want more!
