Why? That is a great question, Orlando.

The buddha said:

"In this world

Hate never yet dispelled hate.

Only love dispels hate.

This is the law,

Ancient and inexhaustible."

(Dhammapada)

THAT is why he is more worthy of our compassion than our hatred.

 Hatred just begets more of the same. Like putting out a fire with
gasoline.....

I might also add;

When someone is SO negative and angry as Fu is, the better way is to just go
silent. Like with a little child, giving him a "timeout" So I back off and
do not engage in conversation with him anymore. He has my compassion and I
do indeed feel sorry for anyone that angry and deluded, but I can't help
him, and he can only drag us down if we stoop to his level.
