Well, whoever said a Baha'i can't lie is full of tosh (whatever that
is).  Ruhiyyih Khanum told me a big one when I sat up with a friend
praying for the recovery of the Guardian when he was already dead.  Of
course, I've heard since then we've got white and black lies in the
Faith.  Naturally the white ones are the ones that are okay.  Like our
slaves in the early Faith weren't really slaves, so slavery was okay.
In fact, I was told by some white folks that I should have been happy to
have been one of them if I was a good Baha'i.  --Cal
