As mentioned, it doesn't explain why attacks on the Iranian Baha'i community are attacks on the whole of the Baha'i Faith.

Yes it does.

Rod's assertion is that for an attack on the community
to be an attack on the whole of the faith, it has to
be based in a complete rejection of the values of
Baha'u'llah, and his status as a Manifestation of
God.

Rod didn't say this, he said it would have to be "an attack on the Baha'i community prompted by and designed to discredit/damage the writings, the central figures or the institutions."

Also, I don't think its possible to completely reject the values of Baha'u'llah. Even if you're the harshest IRI persecutor you still agree with Baha'u'llah on more things than you disagree. (There is only one God is the primary agreement)

Since the IRI thinks the Baha'is are heretics, and
that Baha'u'llah was an evil and lying imposter,
clearly their persecution of the Iranian Baha'is
proceeds from their entire rejection of the Baha'i
Faith as a whole, and their additional determination
not to allow the Baha'is the freedom of their
own beliefs.

We have yet to establish why you are wittering on
about the IRI, since that has nothing whatsoever
to do with your accusing Rod here of "attacking
the whole of the Baha'i Faith"

If you don't agree that attacks on the Iranian Baha'i community are attacks on the whole of the Baha'i Faith, then we'll just have to disagree on this issue.

Jerry
