Shucks, just goes to show what one can miss, when he's focused on other
projects. Those wishing to check up on my personal preoccupations may try:

Now, I thought I was following the news: the transfer of power coming
soon between the newly elected (with awesome support) leader of the Liberal
Party, Paul Martin, and the long serving and very popular Jean Chretien;
our current Foreign Minister announcing his departure from politics, but
then he may become our new ambassador in Washington; the ongoing effort to
unite the two conservative parties and the tempest caused by one of their
outspoken MPs; the new Liberal government elected in Ontario and the budget
deficit they're facing, the deficit facing the local government in Ottawa,
etc., but Sharia law, gee, you'd think the media would nevertheless find
room to keep us informed about this. Well, thanks a lot. I'll keep my ears
and eyes open now to see what emerges on Dec. 31. Please don't hesitate to
post hear any info that comes your way.
Thrive, Michael
