Sorry Jerry, with respect I disagree, For instance over the past century the modes of transport, communication, education and freedom of expression allowed in numerous non muslim countries world wide which numerous new age religions took advantage of, to propagate their religious views (JW's Mormons, Bahais etc) was unheard of in early centuries of Christianity. Taking into consideration the three centuries of persecution christians suffered under the Roman Empire it would take a team of professional religious historians to enter into a joint project of study and come up with a result to find an answer..................Errol
