The last fellow nearly killed her. He slashed her with a knife and she came very close to bleeding to death. The cop arrested him for attempted murder. I'm not sure what the result of the trial was but after he served his time she went to back to living with him (I know boggles the mind). Well, one night they were having a fight he was hitting her but he lost his balance and fell. Injuring himself (he is rarely sober). Well he took off from the house called the cops and accused her of abuse. She is now in jail awaiting trial. Makes you wonder where the cop's brains are. This is the guy who almost killed her.
