Damn right a new post so all you can read it, I don't care if I shouldn't... it's what I did. Now I know some people are dealing with SPECIFICS, and you probably already covered this, but let's cover it again ok? We are NOT talking about raped woman, that's ANOTHER thread. This post is about innocent MEN. All of this talk about definitions this....let's not include that...the story below is a real example what happens when a person is wrongly accused PERIOD! I don't give a fuck whether it was on purpose...misidentification, bitch was mentally ill, or what the reason is, it don't make a difference. This is fact: 1. Innocent men are accused. 2. Innocent men are convicted. 3. Innocent men spend years in jail for something they didn't do. 4. It's NOT FAIR. YOU HEAR ME...IT IS NOT FAIR. Now, for all those men in situations like that...what is the FAIR thing for them? I'm not a big believer in reincarnation, so THIS life is it. And this article deals with a man who could fight back. What about countless others who couldn't? Now they have a police record. Depending on when they went in, they may not have skills to do anything. So for the rest of their life they are relegated to the low paying jobs that nobody else wants, resulting in a lifestyle, well you get my drift. But that's ok huh? You've got the fuckin answer. Let's talk about it. Let's debate it. Fuck all of you who think this is ok. It's not. As a society we tend to desensitize ourselves to events happening around us. An earthquake happens and "the death toll rises"....fuck no...death toll does not rise...MORE PEOPLE DIED. If someone spent 20 years of his life for a rape he did NOT commit, what do YOU think should happen? Oh well we made a mistake...my bad? Compensation...if so..how much? Who should pay? The woman, the police, the DA? This is real life!!!! All of you intellects that try to explain why and this and that can just go to hell. You feel real good about yourself because you think you won a debate because of the way you argued this point or that point. Wonder how philosophical you'd be if it happened to someone you cared about? http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?pagename=article&node=&contentId=A62178-2003Jul15¬Found=true
