That's how literature works, Ann. The authors of literature use "fictional" characters to say, explain, and act out their views and philosophy. Perhaps you might benefit from a beginning class in literature at your local college.


Rowling's books are far from literature, but still have characters who portray loyalty, creativity, her values of good vs. bad, etc.
