Shall I let you in on a secret, Sky?  I succumbed to the shocking
temptation to tweak your tail a little.  I venture to suggest that our
having "maintained a civil tone" and our having had very little to do
with one another are related phenomena.

That said, I have no doubt that all the regular personnel of this
group, including yourself, are able to attain a civil tone in
discussion.  I know you can, because I've seen you do it, altho'
regrettably you *didn't maintain it.

Your conduct isn't dependent on anyone else's, in any event, and empty
attempts to distract people from that only draw attention to your own
short-comings.
