Christianity originated in the Middle East. It has no roots in Europe and therefore is an alien tradition. It is not in the nature of our men to turn the other cheek. Our ancient kin loved to wrestle, shout and brawl, not kneel, whisper and cry. Our women were not obedient and subservient as the bible teaches, they knew what was needed and did what was required whether tending to animals, nursing children, smithing a blade, or even occasionally going to war with the men. Christianity came about for us as a result of the conquest of Rome in our lands. Missionaries came out among our people, as they did with the (by this time) multicultural Romans and persuaded them to discard the old ways. The Dark Ages is a term that I understand Christians don't care for. They prefer the Middle Ages. This was the Holy Roman Empire at its peak and church coffers were beginning to fill with the loot of the folk. Monotheism among mainland Europe and in Britain was very high, but much less so in Scandanavia. During the Middle Ages, with the exception of replacing wood with stone in castle construction, there was little technical progress. Science and invention was largely replaced by divine teachings via the clergy. I expect that we could have had an aerospace industry perhaps a century earlier if not for this setback. The Spanish Inquisition was no less than a time of mass murder of innocent Whites, approved by Rome. Scientists and philosophers, the best minds of the time, were declared heretics, to be tortured to death for "consorting with the devil". Hapless peasants and even nobility were dragged down into dungeons where the inquisitor would show them an agonizing death. The discovery of the New World brought Spanish, French and English settlers. Historians accept that the Spaniards came to the Americas for two things - gold and to spread the word to the heathen natives, almost as if the two were one in the same in the Christian political mind. Gospel=Gold. Today, we have the new judeo-christianity. A baptist minister stated in a recent article that I read, "We have 60 million Americans in full support of the state of Israel." We can assume that the vast majority of these 60 million protestants are White people, who believe that the jews are a sacred people and that it is their Christian duty to protect them. It is almost as if these ignorant modern Christians have forgotten the words of the 16th century neo-protestant Martin Luther. His essays against jewish corruption in the church and in society at large deserve a good look. Today's church is no less than a cheerleader and cash cow for Israel. http://www.vnnforum.com/showthread.php?t=84 -- Pro-War religious fanatics in government: Wolfowitz, Perle, Feith, Rumsfeld, Ashcroft, Lieberman, Ridge, Cheney and Bush
