American secularism and the lingering after-effects of old Soviet
propaganda are what has turned the Muslim world against the US.
I know because I was there. The whole time.

Custer's men were slaughtered by math. There were 600 cavalrymen, and
well over 10,000 native american warriors. Even if the Natives hadn't
the advantage of cover, mobility, and initiative, Custer would have
lost anyway.
And it wasn't the Sioux. It was an amalgum of many tribes that had
left the reservations in response to the Ghost Dance Movement.
