Here are some of your callous remarks about it.

        The attack on 9/11 was just dandy because it involved an
        airplane?

        Try asking yourself -- how would we feel if Iraq decided they   
        didn't like our government and engaged in violent attack to try
        to depose our government? Oh -- that was what the Al-Qaida did
        (in much less violent form than our invasion of Iraq) on 9/11.
        Doesn't seem we accepted the rationale when someone used it on
        us.

I still take issue with your contention that 9/11 was less violent than 
our war with Iraq. Imagine being at work -- in a civilian job -- early 
in the morning, tending to your business, and all of a sudden an 
airplane crashes a few floors below you and flames begin burning through 
the floor. No elevators, only way down is to jump or ride it out.

Imagine being a passenger on an airliner as it's being hijacked, and 
having to watch as pilots, attendants, and possibly passengers are 
killed before you. You're powerless as you note the plane's descent in 
middle of a city or diving into a field.

Imagine how Ted Olsen felt talking to his wife Barbara on that fateful 
morning, knowing with too much certainty that he was about to lose his 
loving wife as she and her captive passengers circled around DC. Imagine 
how many others' hearts sank to the ground when they heard that one 
plane flew into the WTC, then another, then one hit the Pentagon, 
knowing that a loved one was aboard a plane that morning.

Imagine the families of the officers, EMTs, and firemen as they watched 
in horror as one tower and then the other fell.

You don't think that's as violent as our *forewarned* actions taken 
against military targets and other targets of opportunity (i.e., 
Saddam's palaces)?

I think you have some very loose screws.
