Re: AT LEAST A QUARTER OF CONSERVATIVES ARE PARANOIACS

That is your assumption and it is fallacious. I don't understand how anyone can support the vicious dictatorship, which tortured, raped, mutilated and killed children. Why do you do such things? Yes the Hussien regime was stable socially, so was Adloph Hitlers. And I never said that social stability is an end which surpasses all others.

The founding fathers of our country certainly proceeded from a stabilty to unstability, but only after nearly a decade of growing discontent with Great Britain. They looked at what they had and what they were doing before the leapt.

THe other side of the coin was the French and Russian Revolutions. The French went through years of horror before Napoleon brought them his very own flavor. Similarly, the peasants of Russia did the exact same thing and instead of years were under totalitarian rule for five decades.

The difference between these was the inclusion in the American Revolution of both sides of the political spectrum Both radical leftists and conservatives were responsible for the struggle. In fact the vast majority of the delegates to the Continental Congress were conservatives to say the least.

That's why your assumption is fallacious. It assumes, typically, assumption of validity which simply do not exist. You're still a very young girl. Hopefully you'll grow out of these over emotional responses and you'll learn to use your brain instead.

BTW RAINMAN, didn't you quote something about ensuring your liberty by guaranteeing your neighbor's liberty? I think that
principle could be applied to social stability as well. If
you claim social stability is of ultimate importance, yet you support Bush's decision to invade Iraq, destabilizing their entire society for no reason, you are a big fat-headed hypocrite. My judgments about my values are plowed ground. I value liberty over security, and if you don't like it,
then f uck you and the horse you rode in on. You may
likewise choose your own values, Rainman. NOW that's stable.

If you want to be free, there is but one way; it is to guarantee an equally full measure of liberty to all your neighbors. There is no other.
