You, unfortunately, are not alone in feeling this way.
But perhaps you should consider that this feeling
has no basis in reality and is utterly erroneous.
The fact is that that, in North America, anyway,
tens of millions of women use birth control, while the
abortions in any year number in the mere thousands, or
perhaps tens of thousands.
This does not lend itself to the conclusion that
"many" women use abortion as as "alternative
form of birth control."
If you have any actual statistical evidence for this
"feeling" you have, you should share it with the
world.
If not, perhaps you should consider refraining from
publishing misleading information -- especially when
this fiction idea provides "evidence" for those who
would remove a woman's right to sovereignty over
her own body.
