Re: The death penalty legitimizes murder

Bullshit.

First, let's state the definition of "Murder".

mur·der: (mūr'dr): noun: The unlawful killing of one human by another,
especially with premeditated malice.

So, what are some situations, in which someone is killed, where this
definition does not apply.

Self Defense: It's not unlawful to defend yourself with deadly force,
nor is there premeditated malice. Does not constitute Murder.

War: Being a soldier is not against the law. And there is no
premeditation during battle. Does not constitute Murder.

Automobile Accident: Does not intel premeditation. Does not
constitute Murder. Although if it is due to gross negligence one
could be charged with Reckless Indangerment or Involuntary Homicide.

Lawful Execution: Is not against the law. May or may not constitute
premeditated malice. Does not constitute Murder. Personally I think
it's more along the line of preservation of the species. Getting rid
of the dangerous element

We have always had war and murder, we always will. It is the natural
order of things. Concepts like "Peace" and "Benevolence" are nice
ideas, but just that. For either to work you'd have to have 100%
participation by every living thing on the planet. (Yeah, go ahead, go
pet the hungry lion while telling it how peaceful your intentions
are).

Of course it'd be better, but not everybody believes in the same
religion, the same God, the same Jesus. Some don't believe in
religion at all. You'll never be able to change this.

So you're making up your own language to make something "sound" evil?
How liberal of you.
