...And still you haven't answered the question: "Whose side are you
rooting for?"

I find it quite amusing that you get very hostile when I post
substantiated facts that not only Republicans, but many Democrats are
supporting the war effort. What? Is this threatening your
blinder-view that all things evil are spawned by GWB?

I've posted my (rather civil, considering) response below so that your
pathetic attempt in changing the context comes to naught:

Oh no. I've seen my share of death and I am not in awe of it. I just
wondered what side you were on. Of course you didn't answer it,
dodging the question as you (liberal extremist that you are) are wont
to do. Perhaps I wasn't clear so I'll ask it: "Whose side are you
on?" Are you delighted that American soldiers are being killed
because you *think* it underscores your warped argument? Or are you
on the side of America, sharing these articles so that we can
understand the sacrifice that these brave men and women are making in
order to keep America safe as our leadership--both Democrats AND
Republicans, mind you--thinks it should:

http://clerk.house.gov/cgi-bin/vote.exe?year=2003&rollnumber=601

House of Representatives:
Yeas: 216 Republicans, 82 Democrats
Nays: 5 Republicans, 115 Democrats.

I think the Democrat sentiment was expressed very clearly by Senator
Jon Corzine of New Jersey: "'We have to accept that even if we
shouldn't have begun this conflict, it [is] now our nation's
responsibility' to rebuild Iraq." (Reuters, Saturday October 18, Vicki
Allen, "U.S. Senate, House pass $87 billion for Iraq.")

Senator Corzine's feelings are admirable: perhaps this is a fight we
shouldn't be in, but dammit, the fight is on and we should endeavor to
win it.
