The "Lion's Share" of Bush's Tax Cuts

What does it mean when it is said that "Bush gave the lion's share of
his tax cut to the richest 1%"?

Most of Bush's trillions of dollars in tax cuts went to the richest 1%.
Literally, well over 50% of the Bush tax cut went to the richest 1%.  So
one can argue that the rich pay more taxes, therefore they should get
more back in any tax cut.  But that's not a good arguement.  Because we
are in the middle of a war, 2 wars, perhaps a world war, and the rich
are not doing anything to help out.  Instead, Bush cuts their taxes and
tells them to shop more often. What kind of sacrifice is that?  

Back in World War 2, the tax rate was about 80% for the highest bracket.
The rich helped out back then, that's how we paid for the war effort,
the Marshall Plan and all that.  But the rich are not helping out now.
How come?

You should watch National Geographic to fully understand what "lion's
share" means.  The female lions run the the entire jungle to hunt for
food, even when they are pregnant, they are always the ones to hunt for
food, and then they bring all this food to the male lions.  The male
lions, as it turns out, are just about the biggest sexist, the laziest,
and the biggest pigs of an animals that you can possibly find, if it's
possible for a lion to be a pig, if you know what I mean.  Not unlike
the way Republicans are.  The male lions just eat and eat everything
they see, make a big mess, and devour all of the food that the female
lions worked so hard to bring to them, and then if there are any
leftovers after the males feast on all those bloody carcasses, then and
only then will they allow the female lions to eat, and the female lions
eat only the left over scrap that the male lions leave behind.

The 'lion's share' of Bush's gigantic and irresponsible tax cuts went to
the richest 1% of Americans.  Now you know what "lion's share" means.
We are left with the scrap, the crap, the garbage that the Republicans
have eaten out of first and then left over for us.  This is how
Republicans treat their fellow Americans.  It's disgusting.
