Brat eating left winger Heinrich Mueller, whines: WASHINGTON -- One of the lessons the U.S. government apparently learned from the Vietnam War is this: Don't let the American public see coffins arriving home with U.S. casualties from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Coffin images during the Vietnam era -- along with photos and video of body bags in the field and military officials talking constantly about "body counts" -- had a tremendous impact in prompting antiwar sentiment at home. In a move by the Bush administration to suppress distressing images of war, the Defense Department issued a directive last March on the eve of the U.S. invasion of Iraq that declared: "There will be no arrival ceremonies for, or media coverage of, deceased military personnel returning to or departing from Ramstein (Germany) airbase or Dover (Del.) base, (and) to include interim stops." There have always been some media restrictions at Dover Air Force Base -- rest of this ignorant rant *snipped* as it makes no sense other then trying to blame Bush for a whole lot of actions that were there before Bush became President. hey Brat boy....take another course in American Relations as this has been the official policy since 1992, and that mean it was started by none other then Bill Clinton. care to contact the Pentagon and speak to their Publlic relations offices about this? I am sure that they will correct your left wing slant And one more thing...WE elected him (and don't listen to the whining twits that say he was appointed or some such BS as it has been proven time and time again that even if the counts had continued, and they were illegal because of only four counties being counted instead of the whole state Roe v Alabama 11th US District Court 1995 a good five years before the election happened) and you didn't so stop your whining and take care of your own country. I mean you pay what...$5.00 a gallon for gas and STILL have the dirtiest air and water around. You pay for almost all social services, including lifetime Workers Comp, and have an unemployment rate of almost 38% Yea, you really have the right to try and say we are bad when the destruction your placing on your own economy is terminal.
