Re: I Don't Hate Bush, I Just Hate His Policies

The real question is: who gained most from the war in Iraq - Bush or
Bin Laden? If Bush then he's a crook and should be impeached today. If
Bin Laden, then Bush is too STUPID to hold any office above that of
soda-jerk and should never have been elected in the first place.
But then he wasn't elected, was he?

Actually the Florida problem was primarily in the heavy-democratic southeastern counties. Like Broward - you know, the county that mails several ballots to each voter. It's not Bush's fault that the democrats in those counties have elected supervisors that are too stupid to count ...

As far as the war in Iraq -- one only has to look at Saddam's behavior to realize that he could only be described as a terrorist. His response to the invasion of his country? Go hide, while our soldiers get killed regulary in .... TERRORIST BOMBINGS! Hey guys, the proof is in the paper! Bush as President quite rightly declared war on Terrorists .... and if there was any doubt that Saddam's a terrorist, look at what's happening in Iraq now!!

Hey rob, you just got off work flippin' burgers didn't you?

wow...you really think he's intelligent enough to get a job?

to gain from 9/11?

I suspect there is a side to 9/11 that we know nothing about. I wouldn't be surprised if many people in Government - specifically law enforcement - felt that a castastrophe like 9/11 was necessary for Americans to allow the Government to pass something that restricts personal freedoms like the Patriot Act. Nor would it surprise me to find that many public officials simply failed to stop, rather than cause, 9/11.

I doubt seriously that Bush KNOWINGLY had anything to do with 9/11. But the aftermath of 9/11 caused the attention of the population to be focused elseware, giving the Bush Administration plenty of time to do god-only-know what else that under normal circumstances they wouldn't have got away with. I'd be very surprised if Bush didn't take every advantage he could of 9/11. I would be equally surprised if any sitting president - republican or democrat - would have failed to take the same advantages. (well, Clinton maybe. He wouldn't have got his dick put away quick enough to take advantage)

Also, if you haven't read the newspapers and news sites on the web, Bush won EVERY RECOUNT in Florida. Just another bitter "selected, not elected idiot." Go wet your pants, stupid.

I seem to remember a certain Supreme Court decision that called an end to the recounts. The most official one anyone ever heard declared Bush a winner. That was based on reported totals by county. Then the ballots were all transported to Tallahassee for a OFFICIAL count and before that could happen, the courts declared the issue dead and Bush the winner.

The entire recount just goes to prove that Al Gore's a bad loser and that the Democrats are the party of the Lawyers. Sue everyone for everything.
