Anarchist Football Network launches

Are you an anarchist or are you interested in
anarchist/anti-authoritarian politics and love the game of soccer? Do
you believe that there should be space for fun in the quest for a
revolutionary society and not have to be serious all the time?

Anarchist soccer/football is happening all over the place! Given the
growing popularity of anarchist soccer around the world, we've created
this website to share information about pick-up soccer locations,
local leagues, when they meet, and where they play and to organize
anarchist soccer tournaments/gatherings. If you've ever wanted to kick
some capitalist balls, get some exercise, or build solidarity among
your fellow anarchists, then anarchist soccer may be for you! Log on
to the website and help make it a useful collaborative resource for
anarchist footy lovers all over the world!

Plans are currently underway for an Anarchist Soccer Tournament in
March of 2004 during the week of the annual Anarchist Bookfair in San
Francisco. We encourage everyone to form a team from your area and
