Hey, Pascal is Right: true ideological communism has never been done.  For 
that matter, true socialism has never been done, nor anarchy with a large 
population.  Whether the cause of it's inability to be put into practice is 
the fault of capitalist warmongering or not is an entirely different and 
entirely debatable matter, but communism in its classical definition has 
not even had its surface scratched. 

Oh, the same for Democracy, too.  Not in the past few thousand years, at 
least; and probably not even then.  When people think "democracy" they 
usually refer to "republic."  Hopefully, technological advancements will 
allow less hierarchal and open forms of government to prevail, but there's 
a lot of work still to be done..
