MSNBC admits that being fair is not on their agenda

MSNBC admits that being fair is not on their agenda

The upcoming MSNBC debate may prove to be fair and unbiased, but the
signs are pointing against it. MSNBC is running promotions of the
debate that show some of the candidates long enough and clearly enough
to be recognized, but not Dennis Kucinich.

The Vice President of MSNBC in charge of promotions, Val Nicholas,
told Kucinich for President Campaign Press Secretary David Swanson: "I
don't have to be fair. That's not my job. My job is to get eyeballs
to the debate. I just called the President of MSNBC and that's what he
told me. I do promotions, not content."

Mr. Nicholas can be reached at 201-583-5371 or [EMAIL PROTECTED]

The President of MSNBC, Erik Sorenson, can be reached at 201-583-5050
or [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Dennis Kucinich is a presidential candidate who does not take PAC
money from corporations. Instead he serves the people he represents
and those who are supporting him. This action by MSNBC is a clear
indication of how the corporate owned media is trying to undermine
democracy and determine which candidates voters should know about.

Regardless of whether or not you support the platforms of Congressman
Kucinich's campaign for the presidency, you should be concerned about
this corporate cooption of our democracy.

campaign, see:
