Kucinich to Join Nader at Rally for Democracy And D.C. Statehood What: Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich will join Ralph Nader at a mass rally in Washington D.C. organized by Democracy Rising and also featuring Dorothy Scott of Washington Inner City Self Help, Vanessa Dixon of the DC Healthcare Coalition, DC Public School Teacher Elizabeth Davis, Damu Smith of Black Voices for Peace, DC hip hop artists Head-Roc featuring Noyeek the Grizzly Bear, and the Malcolm X Drummers and Dancers. When: Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003. Doors open at 6 p.m. Event begins at 7 p.m. Event had been scheduled in September and was postponed due to the hurricane.
