".........man with five wives........."

A man with fives wives who commits adultery, will be beaten-up by the five wives.

This is a worse fate, than the man with one wife, who commits adultery.

[a]
What a man and his hareem do in the privacy of their homes,
would not normally be any business of government.

[b]
The law only recognizes the first wife.
The other ninety-nine women of the hareem are not counted as wives by the courts.

[c]
The law does not allow anyone to enter a marriage ceremony until the previous
marriage ceremony has been cancelled.

[d]
A heterosexual marriage ceremony is two people.
A same-sex marriage ceremony is two people.
