Who's braver: A woman visiting troops along the dangerous front lines in Afghanistan, or the man who secretly bounced in and out of the Baghdad airport like a lost piece of luggage?
Sigh. In a guerilla war, EVERYWHERE is a front line. He took a big chance doing what he did. PR stunt or not, it was pretty gutsy.
Not really. After all, spending Thanksgiving with the family is stressful for many folks; imagine what it must be like for Bush. His daughters are getting sloppy drunk, his niece's all coked out, his one brother's a philandering embezzler with a conspicuously absent family, and the other brother's looking at him like 'You loser, I destroyed my credibility to get you the job and look how you fucked up again, it was always supposed to be me in the first place, I'm the smart one', his Dad's sitting in the wing chair mumbling incomprehensibly to himself 'Uhuh, wouldn't be prudent; message: read my lips, not gonna do it', his mother and wife are screaming at the Hispanic help like a couple of harpies with PMS. Geez, Iraq must have looked as cushy as flying planes for the National Guard compared to Nam.
