And indeed those people of Jaspanese ancestry should not have been so treated. But theye weren't confined to dog runs with 15 minutes a day exercise. As for POWs, I suggest you scan the Geneva conventions and see that POWs had considerabble privileges that the Jaopanese weren't too punctilious abopout but the germans were, at least where American and British POWs were concerned.
