Well, I understand the annoyance value.  But it does nothing
to indicate how you can tell when the troops should come home,
which was the point of this part of the thread.  Remember, you
said

  "I do advocate their return home, after we win."

But you've got no hard and fast way to tell when you've won;
so you're effectively just waiting for some politician to declare
victory and leave.  As far as I can tell.
