If the detention and interogation of dependants provides information leading
to the capture of those responsible for the attacks on our troops, and on
the Iraqi people, then the detentions are sound policy. The one thing which
would make it wrong would be if our troops were abusing the civilians, and I
doubt very seriously that this is the case.
