They are fully aware of the humane nature of IDF!

I once happened to talk to a palestinian who spent some time in an IDF detention camp. He was 
lamenting about the food, rations, family visits etc.

When I asked him what in his opinion would it be like to sit in a jordanian jail (Jordan is 
supposedly one of the most liberal arab coutries)?

He smiled broadly and said: we've not in Jordan, we're here [Israel]!

They are not blind, they are just cynical in their propagande - that's all.
