Legal institution likens "Switzerland document" to "Declaration of Indulgence" Dec 3, 2003, 11:01 Occupied Jerusalem - Al-Haq legal institution, catering for Palestinian human rights, yesterday issued a detailed report including its legal remarks on the so-called "Switzerland document" and focusing on its important articles. The report, a copy of which was made available to PIC correspondent, noted that numerous attempts were tabled in the past years to settle the Palestine cause but all ended up in failure and caused more suffering and human rights violation in lines of the Palestinian people. Al-Haq attributed such failures to the fact that those agreements ignored the basis and principles of the international law and human rights in addition to international resolutions that guaranteed the Palestinian people 's inalienable Palestinian rights atop of which came self-determination and right of return. The institution said that the occupation authorities continued to evade their commitments in accordance with the international and humanitarian laws as the international community was not serious in obliging those authorities with any binding responsibilities. The institution, which noted that the Switzerland document had many other yet undeclared addendums, described it as a "Declaration of Indulgence" that forgave Zionist crimes and surrendered the Palestinian refugees' right of return and compensation. http://www.palestine-info.co.uk/
